White Oak Nuance features a uniform and elegant look, with fine, delicately drawn grain. Boards are selected for their consistency and soft tonal balance, creating a bright, soothing surface marked by purity and finesse.

Characteristics
- Nuance — colour and grain
- An elegant appearance with soft tones and fine grain. All natural colour variations are possible; slight abnormal colour variations such as tool marks, stains, discoloration or bluing are accepted.
- Nuance — knots and mineral streaks
- Sound or repaired knots are occasionally permitted up to 3/16 in in diameter. Small mineral streaks are accepted up to 102 mm (4 in).
- Nuance — integrity
- No grading cracks or splits. Occasional unrepaired open defects are permitted up to 1/16 in. Naturally occurring surface checks in limited quantities are not considered defects.
- Character with Knots (V+)
- More visible contrasts and natural knots showcase the wood’s organic richness and depth. This warm, textured appearance adds personality and authenticity. All colour variations, sound or star knots and mineral streaks are accepted.
- Character — integrity and repairs
- No grading cracks or splits. Natural surface checks are accepted in limited quantities. Occasional unrepaired open defects are permitted up to 3/16 in. For other defects, the repair material surface area must not exceed 25 cm² (4 square inches). Slight abnormal colour variations are accepted.
- A natural material
- Wood is a natural, living material. White oak may display slight colour variations, surface checks, superficial cracks or mineral streaks. Familiarize yourself with these natural variations before choosing your floor.
